Changelog

What has changed in content, tools and the legal situation. Latest entries first.

Every page shows its last-updated date at the top. When a statement changes, we record it here. The log is also available as an Atom feed for your feed reader (entries in German).

Tighter texts, app screens, widget statement corrected

All guides, cases, country pages, platforms, store systems and tools are shorter and free of repetition; citations, dates and quotes are unchanged. The Shopify page shows recreated screens of the app. Corrected: the widget loads a small text file for languages other than German and English; the privacy policy now says so and also covers hints shown on the page.

Launch of ai-label.app

The website goes live. It includes a guide to labelling AI-generated images under Article 50 of the AI Act, based on the European Commission's guidelines and the Code of Practice. It also offers the free labelling check using decision tree tree.v1, the same one used in the Shopify app, and in-browser tools: add a label, check and write metadata, disclosure texts, templates and the widget for any website. The Worldwide tracker covers labelling rules outside the EU, including California's amendment by SB 1000.

Label your first AI image

Free in your browser, with the EU icon and text in 24 languages. On Shopify, the app labels your whole store.
